On Tuesday, September 17th, I came home from work to Arlo meowing very loudly in the bathroom. I walked in and saw that he was lying next to the toilet with his eyes closed in extreme pain. I saw that the lower part of his body was still on the toilet. There was a sweater in the way, so I moved it, and Arlo's back foot was twisted 180 degrees, stuck between the back of the toilet seat and the back of the toilet.

He is currently at the pet hospital and has a broken tibia and fibula. He will need surgery and a splint, and it is a two-month recovery period.

Anyone who knows me also knows how much I love my pets, and this event has absolutely shattered my heart. We would appreciate any and all help on the road to Arlo's recovery.
