Arlo is a Cairns local fun-loving 13-year-old with CTNNB1 syndrome, a rare condition that affects his:
- Vision
- Speech
- Movement, balance & coordination
- Learning and motor skills
Despite daily challenges, Arlo’s adventurous spirit never stops!
He loves going on bike rides — they help him:
- Strengthen his legs, heart & lungs
- Improve balance & coordination
- Stay fit and healthy
- Socialise with friends, family & his community
Age-appropriate adaptive trike options in Australia just aren’t suitable and not covered under NDIS. Therefore, the dream is to import a Van Raam Fun2Go adaptive trike from the Netherlands — specially designed for children with mobility needs. This amazing trike will allow Arlo to ride safely and freely with adult support, helping him keep reaching his goals into adulthood.
You can help! Donate and together with the Cairns Lions Club you can help fund:
- The Van Raam Fun2Go trike
- Essential accessories
- Shipping to Australia
