Arlethea Barringer, a native of Charlotte, NC and the mother of two sons, Rodney and Durante, was the embodiment of faith and love. She loved her sons, family, friends, and even strangers deeply. Her smile was infectious and she was a light everywhere she went, always leaving places better than she found them. Arlethea was a servant leader, a proud mother, and a devoted child of God. Her sons, family, and friends are deeply heartbroken by her recent passing and are navigating this profound and unexpected loss.

We are raising funds to cover the cost of a loan to pay for Arlethea's memorial service, as well as travel costs for her son, Durante. Your contribution will help cover expenses related to her memorial, including a send-off service. Unfortunately, due to her illness, her life insurance policy lapsed and lost significant value, leaving the family with additional financial burdens.
