Support Ari's Journey: Fund Her Surgery
On July 5th, Ari, a tiny kitten just 9 weeks old, came into the Swift Current SPCA's care in heartbreaking condition. She was severely underweight, and her eyes were in such bad shape we were unsure if she could see. After a thorough vet examination, it was determined that Ari would need a double enucleation—surgery to remove both of her eyes. Despite her difficult start, Ari's sweet spirit shone through, and we knew we had to do everything we could to give her a fighting chance.
Over the past few weeks, Ari has been on medication to manage her pain and inflammation, and she was placed in a loving foster home where she could gain the strength and weight needed for surgery. Thanks to the incredible care she’s received, Ari has made remarkable progress. She’s now 17 weeks old, has reached her target weight, and is finally ready for her big day—the surgery that will relieve her pain and give her the best possible quality of life.
Ari has already come so far, and we’re confident that she will thrive even more once she’s had this life-changing surgery. But we can’t do it alone. We’re asking for your help to cover the costs of Ari’s double eye removal surgery and her recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a huge difference in Ari’s life.
We’ll be posting updates on Ari’s journey as she heals, so you can see firsthand how your generosity is giving this brave little kitten a second chance.
Thank you for being a part of Ari’s story. Let’s help her get to her happy, pain-free future!
