Dearest Friends, Family, and Community,

My name is Ari and as many of you know, I recently lost my Dad, Gregory Vaughn Simpson, in a brutal hit-and-run accident on 01/05/2025 in South LA. My Dad's sudden death has impacted not only myself, but his oldest son and my 2 younger half-sisters, as well as his many nieces, nephews, and friends who have been left to wonder why someone would do this to our loved one

My family and I wish to honor my Dad by having him cremated and holding a small Celebration of Life in LA where his family and friends can grieve together. The cost of the cremation and service totals $3,500, which is the basis for our request for support from you all. We are requesting some additional funds to cover the cost of his urn, some custom shirts for our direct family members, flowers, and help with gas money and funds for food as I have had to drive 2 hours to LA multiple times a week for the investigation and to handle my Dad's affairs. This is the basis for any additional requests.
