Support Ari's Critical Care and Recovery
Donation protected
Hello, family and friends,
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your support for our beloved Ari. Ari recently experienced a heartbreaking complication during her pregnancy. Despite her incredible strength and the tireless efforts of her medical team, none of her puppies survived.
It all began on Wednesday evening when Ari's water broke, but no puppies arrived after 12 hours. Her regular vet reassured us that labor could take up to 36 hours, but something just didn’t feel right. Ari began showing signs of distress, and after she delivered a puppy at home with significant blood loss, we knew we had to act quickly.
We rushed her to the Veterinary Emergency Group, where the doctors immediately started working to save her life. After hours of trying various medications to help her deliver naturally—resulting in only one more puppy being delivered—it became clear that Ari was too exhausted to continue. She needed surgery to remove the remaining puppies.
The surgery itself was complicated, as one puppy was stuck in the birth canal, and there were moments when it was touch and go. Thankfully, Ari pulled through, but she remains in critical condition. She’s staying at the hospital longer than expected, requiring care, pain management, and additional medications. She’s still not eating and is in significant pain, but we’re holding onto hope and praying for her recovery.
The cost of Ari’s emergency care and surgery has already exceeded the original $9,000 estimate we were originally given, with additional expenses continuing to add up as she remains hospitalized. While we’re doing everything we can to provide her with the care she needs, we simply can’t do it alone.
We’re asking for your help. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Ari’s medical bills and recovery. If you’re unable to contribute financially, we completely understand and would deeply appreciate you sharing this page with others who might be able to help.
Ari is more than just a dog to us—she’s family, and we’re not giving up on her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
