Hello, my name is Javan. As some of you may know, Ariel and I recently got married in January this year. I currently work in the culinary union, where my family is supposed to be covered medically. However, since she works at Sam’s Club, her job automatically puts her on the exclusion list for reasons I don’t know. So, they denied her being able to be covered under my insurance.
As of last Friday, we found out Ariel had an ectopic pregnancy. They gave her a shot which was supposed to flush her system and clear the ectopic pregnancy. However, as of tonight, she started bleeding heavily and started showing signs she was going to pass out. We rushed her to the hospital again only to find out the shot didn’t work. Emergency surgery had to be performed to remove the ectopic pregnancy as well as one of her fallopian tubes. They have now admitted her for the night here at Southern Hills Hospital with a 2 week no-work order from the doctor. However we’re going to try our best to shoot for a one week recovery.
With no insurance, we have no way of being able to financially afford this medical bill as well as the medications that are to follow on top of the loss of income. This has been incredibly devastating, not only for her but for our family, mentally and financially. Any support is so greatly appreciated. Thank you.
