Hello, my name is Ariel. I'm a mother to three kids in Mobile, AL. My oldest is 18, my middle child is 14, and my youngest is 4. Their names are Ian, Mila, and Meadow. I'm asking for your help today because I desperately need a down payment for a decent car. The last two I've owned in the past few years have been clunkers that soon became undrivable, and each time it happens it sets our lives backwards in so many ways. Living in the south is incredibly expensive if you don't have a car, and our bus system is unreliable. A car is a must have here. A car for us means I can start working again, my son can get to college next year, and Meadow can actually go to the pre k classes she was accepted into. It means a tiny bit of freedom for my kids who've gone months rarely going anywhere except up to the corner store for a snack. It's been mentally hard for all of us.
