Support Arielle's journey to the MC Cosplay Championship

Hello Friends!

My name is Arielle, or Air Bubbles Cosplay to some of you. I've been a creator and costume designer for over 10 years now and have traveled as far as Japan for my costuming work. I've also won multiple awards for excellent craftsmanship as well as teaching panels and workshops across the country to young creators.

That brings me to why we're here! In February of this year I competed at the Magic Con Chicago cosplay contest (A Magic the Gathering convention for those that are unaware), and I won Best in Show with my costume that I had spent months before working on. Winning this contest has given me the opportunity to compete at the Championship to be held in Las Vegas this October. Winning got me some badges to the event but I have to pay for my way there as well as food and lodging.

To the final reason we're here, I was laid off from my full time job back in August of 2022, leaving me unemployed for almost 2 years. My husband, Tyler, as well as some gigs I picked up have kept us afloat but we are at a point where it cannot take us any further until I begin working again. (Without getting into too much detail we had some house emergencies that depleted our funds).

The goal listed is to help cover the following:

Flights for Tyler and myself (My husband is included since I will most likely be in a large costume and need a person to help me)

Hotel

Food for the days we're there

Competing on the stage next to my friends and fellow cosplayers is a huge opportunity for me and I hope you can help make it happen.

As time progresses I plan to share as much progress of my costume building as I am allowed to (it's a secret build so I can't share a ton publicly...)

I also would like to give back to those who donate. I don't have much but I do have Magic the Gathering tokens, I have various stickers and pins, and some other items I plan to dig up and share.
