I don’t think there is anyone that will ever be prepared for the diagnosis of cancer. It’s a word no one wants to hear, nor do they wish to add it to the list of their medical diagnoses. The impact it has on an individual and their family is burden I wish no one has to bear. Unfortunately on March 13, 2024 my best friend got confirmation of her worst fear. Cancer. Arielle was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. There began her journey of 16 rounds of chemo in conjunction with immunotherapy, followed by a double mastectomy, 9 weeks of radiation, & finally reconstructive surgery. That day marked the beginning of a road she never wished to walk down. Those of you that know Ariel are well aware of her strong personality and her ability to overcome the odds. Life has hit her hard and fast over the last two years but has also been full of blessings she didn’t know she needed, specifically Jett. You may also know that Arielle is not someone who ever asks for help unless she absolutely needs it and that is where I come in. During this time she will continue to try and work but the last thing she needs to worry about is finances, I mean the girl is battling cancer here, as well as raising her son. I know there are so many of you that hold her so dear to your heart and would love to help in any way that you can. Please feel free to donate what you can so Arielle has one less worry and can focus on making cancer her bitch!
