Support Arian's Recovery After Tragic Accident
Donation protected
On the night of May 8th, my sister Arian was in a devastating car accident on Highway 290. She was driving our mom’s car home from a charity event get-together when she got caught in a storm system. The car hit standing water, hydroplaned, slammed into the barrier, and flipped several times before coming to a stop on its side. A kind stranger who witnessed the crash immediately stopped and helped her escape. People on the scene said it was a miracle she made it out alive.
In the moments after the crash, Arian noticed she was covered in blood—not from her own injuries, but from her beloved dog Brody, who tragically died on impact. Brody was her constant companion, her best friend, and her emotional support. He is the second dog Arian has lost in a tragic accident within just one year, alongside Griffin.
This happened just days before Arian’s 27th birthday—and heartbreakingly close to May 24th, which marks the 11-year angelversary of our baby sister’s passing. This year is especially painful. For the first time, we’ve now lived more years without our little sister than we had with her. That kind of loss never gets easier, but through it all, Arian has remained the steady, selfless rock in our family. She’s the one who holds space for everyone else’s grief—even as she carries so much of her own.
Now, she needs our support.
Arian is facing possible broken ribs and a fractured clavicle. She’s in pain, emotionally and physically, and the medical expenses are already piling up. She works as a teacher’s aide in the school district and was recently invited to travel with the U.S. National Women’s Flag Football Team—an incredible opportunity and lifelong dream she’s worked so hard to achieve. This accident has not only shaken her emotionally, but threatens to put her dream on hold.
We’re asking for donations to help cover Arian’s medical expenses, support her physical recovery, and give her the time and space she needs to heal—without the added stress of financial hardship.
Where the Funds Will Go:
The $20,000 goal will go toward covering emergency medical bills—including medical care, diagnostic imaging, and potential surgery—as well as physical therapy, transportation, and day-to-day costs during her recovery. This support will also help her temporarily step back from work and training so she can prioritize healing.
Arian is one of the most hardworking, loyal, and kind-hearted people you could ever meet. She shines her light on everyone around her. Now it’s our turn to shine that light back on her—to remind her that this pain is not the end of her story.
Thank you for loving Arian the way she has loved so many. Please share this with anyone who knows her, has crossed paths with her, or simply wants to help someone who truly deserves a hand up.
With love,
