Help Arianna Heal and Get Back Home to Her Boys
Last Tuesday, October 14th, my younger sister Arianna Aron, a devoted single mom of two, went to the ER after several days of worsening pain and weakness she initially thought was just a muscle pull. What started as discomfort quickly became alarming when the entire left side of her body stopped responding normally.
After an initial evaluation, the local hospital immediately transferred her to University of Iowa Hospital, knowing her care required a higher level of expertise. Upon arrival, her symptoms raised major concerns of a stroke or blood clot, and she was admitted right away.
Since then, Arianna has undergone numerous tests including CT scans, MRIs, and more, but no clear answers have emerged. A week later, her condition remains largely the same. She continues to experience functional loss of mobility on one side, and testing is still ongoing as doctors work to determine the cause.
While the uncertainty and fear are heavy, what weighs even more is the financial burden this has created. Arianna just started a new job as a correctional officer, and while she has used all her paid leave, she is now entering an unpaid period. As a single mom, she has always stretched every dollar to care for her two boys, but this sudden loss of income has put her in an impossible position.
Bills, rent, and responsibilities do not pause, even when life does.
We are hoping to raise $6,000 to help cover the next few weeks of her essential expenses while she focuses on what truly matters — healing and getting back home to her boys.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign or keeping Arianna and her sons in your prayers.
Funds will be used to mitigate the loss of her wages, stay on top of her mortgage, and all bills. Medical costs are unknown at this point. However, we are baby stepping into each phase.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with her during this difficult time.
With love,
