Help Arianna's Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Danielle, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my cousin, Arianna Brazil, who is in urgent need of support as her body is covered in 1st and 2nd degree burns.
Arianna is a vibrant young woman with a sharp sense of humor, a deep love for life, and a resilient spirit. She grew up in Brooklyn Park, where she spent much of her childhood immersed in sports and surrounded by friends and family who adore her.
But beneath her bright personality is a journey marked by immense hardship. Arianna has faced serious health challenges for several years now—beginning in 2023 when she experienced a seizure that led to the discovery of a tumor pressing on her brain. The tumor caused her to lose partial vision in her right eye and triggered the onset of epilepsy. She bravely underwent a six-hour brain surgery to have it removed, and although the operation was a success, her recovery has been long and difficult.
On April 29th, Arianna fainted while in the shower, likely due to ongoing complications related to her condition. As she collapsed, she accidentally turned the water to scalding hot and suffered severe 1st and 2nd degree burns to her face, eyes, ears, neck, arms, and legs. The physical pain is immense, but it’s the emotional and psychological toll layered on top of years of medical trauma that has made this moment especially devastating.
Arianna is only just beginning adulthood, but her path has already been filled with challenges most of us can’t imagine. The stress of managing a chronic condition, mounting medical costs, and now recovering from extensive burn injuries has been overwhelming.
We’re asking for your help. Any funds raised will go directly toward her medical expenses, including treatments, medications, and specialized wound care supplies. Additionally, donations will support items and services that bring her comfort and ease during recovery... things like nourishing meals when she is weak, soft clothing, transportation to appointments if needed, and even small indulgences that offer moments of relief and joy.
Thank you for reading Arianna’s story. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign. Your kindness, in any form truly makes a difference for this young girl.
It takes immense courage to not only endure pain but to let the world see it. To share your story when you're at you're most vulnerable with proof because the world tends to doubt. Arianna has opened that window, not from a place of weakness, but from unimaginable strength. She is facing these battles head on, and now she needs us.
Let’s show her what community looks like. Let’s remind her that even when life knocks us down, she is not alone. Together, we can lift her up—through every dollar, every share, every word of support. This is our moment to surround her with love and strength.
With gratitude, so much gratitude,
Danielle
