My name is Anna, and I am Arianna’s friend and future sister in law. I am updating her GoFundMe on her behalf. Arianna is just 21 years old. She was diagnosed with cancer in December and later received the official diagnosis of Stage 4 Diffuse Large B-Cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, an aggressive form of blood cancer that has spread to multiple areas of her body, including her chest, kidneys, and several lymph nodes. Arianna has now bravely completed two rounds of chemotherapy. Her third round was recently postponed because she became too sick and her blood counts were too low to safely continue treatment. Recently, she also lost her hair from the chemotherapy, which has been another heartbreaking reminder of the battle she is fighting. Her third round is now expected to begin the week leading up to her son’s first birthday. Kameron will be turning one at the end of March. While this should be (and still is) a joyful and exciting milestone, it has been incredibly difficult watching Ari plan her baby’s first birthday while feeling so physically drained from cancer and chemotherapy. No mother should have to balance celebrating her child’s first year of life while fighting Stage 4 cancer. We are beyond grateful for every single person who has donated, shared her story, and supported her. We truly could not have made it this far without you. Although her GoFundMe has been incredibly helpful, the reality is that expenses add up quickly when you are unable to work but still responsible for everyday bills, medical costs, and caring for a child. We wanted to share this update and gently ask that if anyone is able to donate or share again, it would mean more than we can put into words.
