Hi everyone! My name is Arianna Janecek, and I’m from St. Pete, Florida. I’m raising money to study abroad for a full school year through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program, a foreign exchange program that gives students the chance to live and learn in another country.

Travel has always been a big part of my life. My mom is Peruvian, my dad is from Buffalo, and they’ve always taught me the value of seeing the world and experiencing different cultures. Last year, I was lucky enough to spend a month in Peru with my godfather and godmother. We visited Lima and Cusco, and it helped me connect deeply with my Peruvian roots. That trip made me realize how much I want to keep exploring.

Music is also a huge part of who I am—I’ve been singing in choirs, theater, and voice lessons for years. Studying abroad would let me experience music in a whole new way and learn how other cultures express themselves.

A year-long exchange has been my dream since I was little. I want to learn a new language, meet new people, and fully immerse myself in another culture. With Rotary, I won’t know my country or language until later, but I’m excited and ready for wherever I’m placed.

The biggest challenge is the cost. Any donation, big or small, helps me get closer to this life-changing opportunity. Even sharing my GoFundMe means so much.
