On February 22, 2025, I was involved in a devastating hit-and-run car accident that has left me facing significant physical and financial hurdles. I am humbly seeking your support to aid in my recovery journey.

The Accident:

While driving through an intersection, another vehicle ran a red light and T-boned my car. The impact caused my vehicle to roll over 11 times before coming to a stop. Miraculously, I managed to extricate myself from the wreckage, but not without sustaining severe injuries.

Injuries Sustained:

• Neck Injury: I suffered damage to my C6 disc and am currently required to wear a neck brace for the next three months. There is also a possibility of needing neck surgery, depending on my recovery progress.

• Right Arm Fractures: As a right-hand dominant individual, I sustained five fractures in my right arm, including the radius, ulna, both sides of my wrist, and my elbow. Medical professionals have informed me that it may take over a year to regain full functionality, with no guarantees of complete recovery.

• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI): During the accident, I experienced a significant head impact, resulting in a double concussion. Recovery from such injuries varies; while many individuals see improvement within weeks, others may experience prolonged symptoms requiring extended rehabilitation.

Medical Care and Rehabilitation:

Following the accident, I spent a week in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) before being transferred to an acute rehabilitation center, where I have been for the past week. Unfortunately, my insurance coverage for the necessary rehabilitation has been exhausted, leaving me in urgent need of financial assistance to continue my treatment.

Financial Need:

To maximize my chances of recovery and return to a semblance of normalcy, I require an additional three weeks of rehabilitation services. The estimated cost for this extended care, along with mounting medical bills, is $50,000. This amount will cover:

• Continued physical and occupational therapy

• Medical equipment and medications

• Assistance with daily living activities during recovery

• Outstanding medical bills from the ICU and hospital stay
