Dear Family and Friends,

Our beautiful 19-month-old granddaughter, Ariana, was diagnosed on April 11th with a rare form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) caused by a genetic mutation. At 17 months old, Ariana began intensive chemotherapy. She has already bravely completed two rounds, and now she is preparing for a bone marrow transplant in just a few weeks. This procedure is her best chance for long-term survival, but the journey has been—and will continue to be—long, painful, and incredibly costly.

As we continue to walk this path with our beloved granddaughter, and her parents, Kayla and Patrick, the weight of the medical bills coming in, is glaring and very overwhelming. Though it is difficult to ask, we are reaching out for help.

Ariana is a bright, joyful soul who has already shown extraordinary strength and courage at such a young age. This devastating diagnosis has turned our family’s world upside down. We want to ensure that Kayla and Patrick can focus on making the best decisions for her without the added weight of this insurmountable medical debt.
