My name is Nabila, an Afghan women’s rights activist, former humanitarian worker, and survivor of persecution.

For years, I worked to support women and girls in Afghanistan through education, awareness programs, psychosocial support, and vocational training. I dedicated my life to helping women live with dignity and independence.

Because of my work and advocacy, I was arrested and imprisoned. During this painful period, I lost my first child and was forced to flee my country to survive.

Today, I am starting from zero.

I am asking for your support to help me build a stable future, continue my recovery, and work toward my dream of creating vocational skills training opportunities for girls in Takhar, Afghanistan—especially those who have been deprived of education.

Your support can help us:

1: Support girls who have been deprived of education to learn vocational skills, earn an income, and become financially independent.

2: Access psychological treatment and trauma therapy for the severe emotional and mental suffering I experienced.

Cover medical treatment and surgery to remove the scars and injuries caused after the Taliban cut the veins of my hand and subjected me to violence.

3: Purchase sewing machines, fabric, needles, and other workshop materials to create small vocational training spaces for vulnerable girls and women.

4: Provide small salaries and work opportunities for women and girls who are the sole providers for their families.
