Support Ares' Life-Saving Surgery and Recovery

Hi everyone,

I’m writing tonight with an urgent plea for help for my silly, sweet, and incredibly curious kitten, Ares. At just 7 months old, Ares is a total goober—a smooth-brained, goofy lil dude who keeps my home filled with laughter and love. He’s one of three triplets, along with his sisters Athena and Aphrodite, and he’s got a big brother, Milo, who helps keep the chaos somewhat in check.

Unfortunately, Ares’ curiosity got the better of him tonight, and he managed to swallow a sewing needle. I rushed him to the emergency vet, where X-rays showed the needle in his stomach. The only way to save him is through emergency abdominal surgery, which he’s undergoing as I write this.

The estimated cost of his vet bills is between $6,000 and $8,000, depending on what the surgeons find and how he does during his recovery. While I’d do absolutely anything to make sure Ares gets the care he needs, this unexpected expense is overwhelming, and I could use your help.

Ares means so much to me. He’s the goofball who pounces on invisible enemies, who snuggles up with his siblings, and who greets me with his sweet, silly energy every day. He’s family, and the thought of losing him is heartbreaking. Any amount you can contribute - no matter how small - will go directly toward his vet bills and follow-up care.
