**My Life Changed Forever on July 12th**

On July 12th, everything shifted for me—mentally and physically. I was just leaving a night out with my woman in downtown Charlotte when out of nowhere, two men attacked me and gunned me down. I was shot twice in a major part of my leg, and the injuries I suffered were life-threatening. I lost four pints of blood. Four. I had to be rushed to the hospital, fighting for my life.

Before all this, I was a personal trainer, working with athletes, giving back to the youth, and staying active in my West Charlotte community. I was all about positivity, growth, and showing love in every way I could. I’m also the only child to a strong woman who's been through a lot—especially since my dad passed in 2022. When he left us, I stepped up. I became her support system, her rock. She just beat cancer last year (2023), and ever since, I’ve been holding things together for us.

But this shooting has knocked me down. Literally.

I can’t be the same provider and helper I was—not right now. I’m going to need 2–3 months to fully recover. In the meantime, I have two beautiful kids who depend on me, and school is right around the corner. I’m trying to stay strong for them, but I’m also being real—I need help. Bills are stacking up, interest is piling, and my mom is doing everything she can to take care of me and keep the house going. I don’t want everything my dad worked for to slip through our hands.

This GoFundMe is from the heart. It’s not a scam. It’s not a hustle. This is real life.

I’m not a criminal. I’m not a bad person. I’ve always stood for love, faith, and lifting people up—when I had both legs to stand on. I never asked for help when I was walking tall, working hard, and making a difference. But now I’m in a place where I can’t fake it. I truly need the support of others while I fight to get back on my feet—literally.
