Hi everyone, my name is Chloe Underwood, and I’m reaching out for help to save my baby, Arcy. He’s not even a year old yet, and he’s always been the most loving, happy cat. I had already scheduled a vet appointment for Tuesday, hoping that whatever was wrong wasn’t an emergency and could wait. But as Sunday passed, it became clear that he wasn’t getting better—he was getting worse. He was struggling more and more, and I knew I couldn’t wait any longer. That night, we made the last-minute, terrifying decision to rush him to emergency care. At the vet, we got devastating news—he had a urinary blockage, a life-threatening condition that can turn fatal within hours if left untreated. He needed an emergency procedure immediately, and I had to pay nearly $1,000 upfront just to save his life. Now, Arcy is still fighting. He has a catheter in place to help him urinate, and he must stay under medical supervision until the blood in his urine clears and he can go on his own. The vets have told me he will need to remain under care for several more days, with an estimated $1,000+ in additional medical expenses before he can safely come home.
