I’m reaching out for your support to help Archie, my rescued dog, get the vital medical tests he needs to continue his fight against Cushing’s disease. After four years of treatment and great progress, Archie finally has a real chance at adoption in Canada. But to move forward, he urgently needs a full medical examination.
Why Archie Needs Your Help
• Archie is only 6 years old. I rescued him from the streets in 2020 and have cared for him ever since.
• He was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease (hyperadrenocorticism), caused by an adrenal gland tumor, which can be life-threatening if untreated.
• With the help of my incredible vet, Dr. Vahe Mkrtchyan, I’ve been treating Archie by providing him with expensive Vetoryl medication and high-quality food, and we’ve seen amazing improvements.
• Finding an adopter for a mixed-breed dog with Cushing’s disease was nearly impossible in Armenia. That’s why, in September 2023, I brought him to Canada at my own expense, hoping to give him a better future.
• Now, he finally has a chance to be adopted, but we need to complete his final medical tests before his adoption process can move forward.
What Tests Are Needed?
Archie’s prescribed medical tests include:

✔️ ACTH stimulation test
✔️ Pre-Post Vetoryl test
✔️ Sonography
Why I Need Your Support
I have dedicated my life to rescuing and caring for dozens of stray animals:
I currently care for my own adopted 8 rescued dogs (including 2 handicapped ones) and 7 rescued cats (including 1 handicapped one)
My family feeds 25 stray dogs and 23 stray cats daily in Yerevan
I regularly rescue new animals in need
With so many animals under my care, I simply cannot afford the high cost of veterinary tests in Canada. But Archie needs them urgently to ensure he continues on his path to recovery and to his forever home.
