Support Archie Mizell – A Friendswood Hero in Need

After serving the Friendswood community with honor and courage for over 22 years as a police officer, Archie Mizell now faces the greatest battle of his life — not against crime, but against his own health.

Archie has been diagnosed with Epilepsy and early-onset Alzheimer’s disease, conditions that have drastically altered his life. In recent years, he has also suffered several strokes, a heart attack, and experiences vertigo, frequent seizures, and severe memory loss due to dementia. He can no longer drive, and his ability to work or live independently has been taken from him.

Archie lives in an RV with his loving wife, Shauna, who has become his full-time caregiver. Together, they are trying to navigate this difficult journey with limited resources and growing medical expenses. They are currently applying for disability support, but before approval, Archie must undergo extensive medical testing, which they cannot afford on their own.

Archie dedicated his life to protecting and serving the people of Friendswood. Now, we have an opportunity to stand by him in his time of need — just as he stood by us.
