The Great Barrington Police Department is incredibly proud of our Comfort K9 team; Handler Officer Sam Riva and dog Archer, who work tirelessly to bring comfort and companionship to our community in times of need.

Archer is more than just a pet – he's a hero with paws!

However, maintaining his care, training, and well-being requires ongoing support. We’re reaching out to our community to help us continue providing the best for our Comfort K9. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference and helps us ensure Archer is always ready to serve.

Our program is funded 100% on donations.

This year, Archer’s vehicle ran into a lot of mechanical problems. This took a large chunk of our funds as well as more time off for Archer. A good portion of funds that are raised this year will be used for a new to us vehicle.
