My dad, Aran Bailey, is one of the most selfless and hardworking people I know. For 30 years, he’s worked tirelessly as a mechanic, always putting others first. Throughout his life, my dad has faced numerous health challenges, but he continues to persevere with unmatched strength and resilience.

A few years ago, he underwent a double knee replacement, only to face another major surgery just two years later when he discovered he was allergic to the metal used in the original procedure. Last year, he was hospitalized for an infection that required several days of care. More recently, he had surgery on his foot due to a collapsed arch and is currently recovering in a boot, with more time needed for healing. His doctors have also recommended wrist and shoulder replacements, as he’s completely lost cartilage in both joints.

Despite all of these challenges, my dad continues to go to work every day as a mechanic, always putting his family first. Unfortunately, the ongoing medical procedures and appointments have left my parents with significant medical debt, making it increasingly difficult for them to keep up.

My dad would never ask for help, as he is too proud and humble. But as his daughter, I’m hoping to make a difference by sharing his story. Everyone who knows him loves and respects him, and I believe we can make a real difference in his life. I’m asking for support to help him see the light at the end of the tunnel—because he truly deserves it. ❤️
