Recently, I had to travel to be with her and support her during a laparoscopic procedure, where they took more biopsies from her abdomen to obtain a more precise diagnosis. This is just the beginning of a battle in which we will not give up.

Recientemente, tuve que viajar para estar con ella y apoyarla en un procedimiento laparoscópico, donde le tomaron más biopsias en su abdomen con el objetivo de obtener un diagnóstico más preciso. Este es solo el inicio de una batalla en la que no nos vamos a rendir.

Hello, I’m Juan Chavez Garcia.

I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. My dear mom, Aracelly Garcia —who is currently in Colombia— has been diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her peritoneum that has spread to her liver. She has always been my rock and the loving grandmother that my two children cherish deeply.

I am currently alone here in the United States, and although my greatest dream was to have my mom living with me to share countless moments, we now face a harsh reality: we do not have the necessary resources to cover the essential tests required to start her treatment, whether through surgery or chemotherapy.

I kindly ask for your heartfelt help to fund these tests and give my mom the chance to fight this illness. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference and brings us one step closer to having her by our side, continuing to share her love and wisdom.

Hoy me encuentro en uno de los momentos más difíciles de mi vida, ya que mi querida mamá, Aracelly Garcia —quien se encuentra en Colombia— ha sido diagnosticada con un tumor maligno en el peritoneo que se ha extendido hasta el hígado. Ella ha sido siempre mi pilar y la abuela amorosa que mis dos hijos adoran profundamente.

Actualmente, me encuentro solo en Estados Unidos, y aunque mi mayor sueño era tener a mi mamá viviendo conmigo para compartir juntos innumerables momentos, ahora enfrentamos una dura realidad: no contamos con los recursos necesarios para realizarle los exámenes indispensables que permitan iniciar su tratamiento, ya sea mediante cirugía o quimioterapia.

Les pido, de todo corazón, su ayuda para costear estos exámenes y brindarle a mi mamá la oportunidad de luchar contra esta enfermedad. Cada aporte, por pequeño que sea, marca la diferencia y nos acerca un poco más a tenerla a nuestro lado y a seguir disfrutando de su amor y sabiduría.
