Hello, I'm Aquaponic Dumme. I’ve spent 27 years growing and teaching cannabis botany: clear, science-based guides, lessons, diagrams, myth-busting posts, and friendly help in grow communities, plus the occasional video referral. My education came from UMaine, where I fell in love with the botany of cannabis.
I’m a vice-admin at ILGM Grow Support, a moderator at Overgrow, and I run several Facebook groups and a YouTube channel where I share free lessons, diagrams, and product reviews. I also provide free aquaponic classes, on a donation bases, where you learn how to test water conditions, air, and light conditions, along with fish (livestock) care. I guide you through the whole process, using a custom, one-of-a-kind, organic soil-aeroponic substrate, with an aquaponic fertilizer base, or if you prefer, using salts and hydroponics.
This fundraiser keeps the classroom open — literally: internet, power, basic gear, and tools that let me keep teaching for free. If you're interested in sponsoring a student, or If my work has helped you grow better plants, your support keeps this classroom open. No amount is too little. Thank you.
Edit: Someone brought it to my attention that this doesn't include what happend to me this past Saturday.
On 12-06-2025 my apartment with 100% of my belongings, along with my building including my aquaponic garden, we're destroyed in a fire on Saturday night. I’m at a loss of what to do, and my mind is in shock, and isn’t processed what’s happening.
Id like to rebuild but I’m literally starting from zero. If you'd like to help me rebuild, along with continue to support my ability to teach cannabis botany online and in person, you can donate here. Either way, please bear with me for the following weeks as I put myself and my garden back together. Thank you for you understanding.
Since the building was not eligible for fire coverage due to its age and design, I lost everything. There's very limited options I have for recovery, and community support is the primary means of this. Anything you can do is very much appreciated. Thank you for sticking with me.
