Last Thursday, April Anne Boughton’s life changed in an instant following a devastating accident. April collided with a guardrail, and part of it came through her vehicle, causing severe injuries and the tragic loss of her leg. She is currently hospitalized in Gainesville, Georgia.

April is a devoted single mother of three daughters and their sole provider. She is also a very loved only child, and this tragedy has deeply impacted not only her girls, but her entire family.

At this time, April is unable to work and faces a long and uncertain road to recovery.

As of this morning at 9:00 AM, April will undergo another major surgery. Doctors are working to preserve her leg below the knee, and while the situation is serious, April remains hopeful and strong as she takes this next step.

If you know April, you know her sense of humor and positive spirit are already shining through. Still, the weight of medical bills, everyday expenses, and worry for her three daughters would be overwhelming for anyone especially during the Christmas season and after everything she has endured.
