On November 9, 2025, tragedy struck when April Gentry’s car caught on fire, and the flames spread to her home. Her car and house were completely destroyed, leaving her family with almost nothing. The only rooms spared were April’s room and her son’s room — everything else was lost.

All of April’s belongings, including her wallet, purse, and personal items, were in her car and are now gone. Their beloved dog, Coco, was trapped inside the house until the fire was extinguished. Coco is now having a hard time breathing and may need urgent veterinary care, which could cost thousands of dollars.

April and her family are facing an incredibly difficult time and need our community’s support to rebuild their lives. Any donation — no matter how small — will help them get back on their feet and cover emergency expenses for Coco’s care.
