Our sweet April, diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, has been responding to her aggressive cancer treatment. As you can imagine, this has been financially draining with a family of five. For three years, April has undergone chemotherapy every two weeks. She receives scans every three months and radiation was added to her chemotherapy this year. The travel expenses don’t help. Her treatment has made it impossible for her to have regular employment.

Shortly after creating this GoFundMe, April’s husband, Jared, also discovered that he too has colon cancer. His cancer is stage 3. He and April now go together twice every other week for their cancer treatments. In addition, April is now going every week for more aggressive treatments. Jared and April are extremely grateful for the support you all have given. This is not a short journey, and they need continued support as they are both accruing medical bills with inability to work at this time.
