I'm April, diagnosed with Stage 4 Metasticized cancer to the brain. In 2022, my prognosis was 3 months but God sustained my life and has given me more time to serve here on earth. I've been given the blessing of seeing 4 more grandchildren born and 2 children married during these extra years! I'm thankful for all the prayers and support over these last years and am writing to share my current battle against these brain tumors. I currently have 16 brain tumors that are being treated and show signs of shrinking. We have an overdue balance at KU Med Center with my Oncologist, Radiologist, and Chemotherapy of $4,000. We will owe another $5,200 to get through 2025 after Insurance and Charity Care financial aid. I also go to the Riordan Clinic for cancer treatments MAH, High dose Vit.C infusions, injections of Mistletoe and Helleborus to the tune of $1600/month out of pocket.
