Shortly after her 44th birthday, April O'Neil discovered a lump in her right breast. What followed was a whirlwind of tests, scans, and biopsies, leading to the diagnosis that every woman fears—Stage 3/4 breast cancer, affecting both her breast and a lymph node. The news has been life-changing for April and her family, bringing uncertainty and new challenges into their daily lives.
April has been a passionate pizza maker at The Cabin restaurant in Bath, Maine, a craft she first fell in love with during her high school years. When she's not in front of the oven, she cherishes time with her daughters, Mazie (5) and Samantha (19), and her spouse, Matt. Now, as she faces the fight of her life, the support of her community means more than ever.
We are reaching out to ask for help covering the medical and living expenses that come with April's diagnosis and treatment. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden on April and her family, allowing them to focus on what matters most—her recovery and time together. Thank you for your kindness and support.
