On March 29, 2026, my sister April Knutson suffered a major and severe stroke. She was rushed to Harbor View Medical Center, where she underwent several life-saving surgeries. We thank God every day for her life and recovery. Currently, April is awake and has movement on the right side of her body, but her left side is paralyzed. She will require intensive and extensive rehabilitation to regain as much independence as possible. Despite everything, April improves every day and continues to make us laugh with her wit and personality.

The funds raised through this campaign will help cover medical bills, rehabilitation, and therapy. These resources are essential for April’s recovery and will give her the best chance at regaining strength and mobility. Our family is committed to supporting her every step of the way, but we know we can’t do it alone.
