My name is April, and I have spent most of my life as a CNA, caring for others in their times of need. Now, I find myself in a position I never expected—asking for help for myself and my two amazing boys. Over the past few months, I have been hospitalized twice due to a rare blood disease that causes a clotting disorder, as well as lupus. These health challenges have made it incredibly difficult for me to work and keep up with daily life.

My boys mean everything to me. One of my sons is autistic, and my other son has a heart condition. Balancing their needs with my own health struggles has been overwhelming, and missing work has made it nearly impossible to make ends meet. I am struggling to pay bills and put food on the table, and the stress of not knowing how we will get through the next few months is weighing heavily on me.

I have always been someone who gives care and support to others, and it is not easy for me to ask for help. But right now, I am desperate. I am reaching out to my community and anyone who is willing to listen, hoping for a little support to help us get through this difficult time.
