Apple Bert is a devoted mother of two boys, a dedicated EMT, and a local small business owner specializing in meditation. She is now facing her second battle with cancer and a debilitating stomach condition, which has required multiple surgeries over the past nine months. During this challenging time, Apple discovered her cancer had returned, and her long-term disability claim is under investigation for a pre-existing condition. This means she is not receiving payments and may not receive them at all, leaving her and her children in a very vulnerable position.
Every financial aspect of Apple and her children’s well-being is now at risk, with no resources or anyone left to borrow from. Her boyfriend, a retired veteran and single father, lives separately and does not share bills, but has managed her finances and supported her as much as possible. He has given everything he can, but is now financially exhausted himself. Apple has always been the first to help others, but now she finds herself in need of nonjudgmental help and financial relief from her community.
Apple would never ask for help herself, so I am doing it for her. I don’t know exactly how much relief she needs, but this fundraiser is a starting point to get her out of the hole. Please consider offering nonjudgmental help and financial relief to Apple and her family. If you can’t donate, sharing her story or offering resources is deeply appreciated. Thank you for any support you can give during this incredibly difficult time.
