The Ranger Challenge team is part of Appalachian State University’s Army ROTC (Mountaineer Battalion). It serves as the ROTC’s equivalent of a “varsity sport,” emphasizing intense physical and mental challenges.

• Purpose & Mission

Our program aims to:

• Challenge cadets mentally and physically

• Enhance leadership development and team cohesion

• Promote healthy battalion competition
