Aolanis has been given an amazing opportunity to represent our community of Deltona on our beautiful island of Puerto Rico. As her parents, we couldn’t be prouder of the young woman she is becoming. She’s not only a very talented and determined student-athlete, but also a kind and hardworking daughter who always pushes herself to do her best.

Balancing school and sports isn’t easy, but Aolanis continues to amaze us. She’s maintained a 3.8 GPA all year taking AP classes (some which she is earning high school credits for) while being involved in multiple sports. Even though she enjoys them all, her heart belongs to softball. She is a self-taught pitcher who has grown tremendously through her dedication, discipline, and love for the game.

This opportunity means so much more than just playing in a tournament; it means Aolanis will get to step onto the field in Puerto Rico, where her family will be able to see her play in person and cheer her on for the very first time. That is a dream come true for her, and for us as well.
