Support Aolani After Matthew Dube's Tragic Loss
Donation protected
My name is Amanda Dickey myself, and Aolani’s daughter Alicia brown are asking for your help with the loss of Aolani husband, Matthew Dube, in an awfully quick demise of stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
The two had been engaged for many years and tied the knot on April 22nd. The two had a morning wedding and spent the rest of the beautiful day as happy newlyweds. The next day, Matt had an oncology appointment for a second opinion where he was then admitted to the hospital and three days later sent home on hospice with the expectation of a few more weeks to live.
At age 43, Matt passed away with family by his side on April 30th.
Matt was a healthy, strong man who loved to fish and spend time with friends and family. Many would describe Matt as kind-hearted; he’d always put others before himself, smiling through it all.
He worked as a supervisor for Elevation 3D for over a decade. A beloved boss and mentor to his fellow friends and coworkers.
They had to fight through the loss of both their mothers just three months prior to Matt’s diagnosis. There was no time for them to grieve the losses due to Matt’s unexpected tragic news. Matt and Aolani’s mothers both meant so very much to them. The horrific diagnosis right after the loss of both of them was unbearable, mentally and financially. I am asking if anyone would like to help Aolani through this difficult emotional and financial burden, it would be greatly appreciated.
Matt and Aolani also took care of their brother Robert with special needs and have been for some time. In fact, Matt was his “MD” and Aolani is his “nurse”! These expenses will go towards the celebration of life and living expenses to get through this extremely difficult time! Please consider donating to lighten the burden of such tragic unexpected circumstances.
There will be a celebration of life held on May 18, 12-4 at Barbers Crossing north 175 Leominster rd Sterling, MA. All that knew and loved Matt are encouraged to come and share their fond memories.
