We are seeking donations to tell a vital story about parts of the Midwest that have been left behind and forgotten in their representation in the film industry. To reflect this idea, we are shooting on 16mm film to evoke a memory-like quality to the cinematography.
Set against the backdrop of rural America in the early 2000s, Anywhere follows a day in the life of high school senior Lizzy Martin as she considers what her future looks like. She can't afford college without a scholarship and she's already missed the regular deadline. With the final deadline upon her, Lizzy struggles to write an essay that will determine the next four years, or maybe the rest of her life.
