Support Anya's Dream Cafe for All

Hi, my name is Anaika but everybody calls me Anya. I’m a proud Afro-Latina from Dominican Republic. When I moved to Tennessee, I faced a deep sense of culture shock and displacement. I searched for a community but often felt lost. I realized that the community I was seeking was often portrayed as something to fear by the media—yet those individuals were just like me. They spoke a different language, looked different, and came from other parts of the world. Tired of seeing us misrepresented, I saw a need for resources in my area and decided to create one. And so Mis Amores came to be.

I currently have an online shop available and want to open my very own brick and mortar for my romance bookshop cafe. I want to provide a physical location where all migrants and anyone who needs a place where they are welcomed can go to regardless of identity or origin. A place where they can go to get attainable resources they need that the state lacks. I want to give them a safe space where they can enjoy some cafecito, romance books, and good food.

Please donate if you can or if not then share.
