Recently, my niece Anya Hall was involved in a very serious car crash on November 4th, where the vehicle she was in was in an collision with an ambulance so hard she had to be cut out of the car. Her injuries from this car accident have gone from severe to critical. She is now down at Devos Children's Hospital in a medically induced coma from her first surgery and is currently awaiting two more. At first, we were told her injuries only included a broken clavicle, a skull fracture, a broken femur, a broken ankle, and broken ribs. After getting her an MRI, we all could see that her injuries were way more severe than we could've imagined. She was sent to Devos, and they are now doing damage control. Her first surgery resulted in Anya losing a piece of her small and large intestine; they found out her bowel was rotting, and she has a spinal cord injury. The cost of surgery and all current and future medical needs are overwhelming and will continue to grow. All donations will be spent on lifting the financial burden and making sure Anya gets the best care possible.
