Hi everyone,
My name is Antwoineia Blanton. I’m 33 years old, and I’m currently fighting a rare stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer — something I never imagined would be a part of my life. Today, I’m humbly asking for support as I continue this battle.
Almost three years ago, my world changed in ways I could have never prepared for. In October 2022, I lost my 4-year-old daughter in a horrific car accident. I am painfully grateful that I survived that accident, though it left me with injuries requiring reconstructive surgery. Just nine months later, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Losing my child and then receiving this diagnosis has been the hardest chapter of my life — but I’m still here, and I’m still fighting.
This illness has also made it extremely difficult to work. Between treatments, appointments, and the physical toll of cancer, I’ve been unable to maintain steady employment, yet I don’t qualify for disability. This has created a heavy financial strain at a time when my focus needs to be on healing and survival.
My goal is to raise funds to access the best medical care possible. I’m currently searching for leading liver specialists here in Illinois, and I’m also hoping to get treatment at MD Anderson in Texas, one of the top cancer centers in the country. I truly believe in giving myself every chance to beat this. People survive stage 4 cancer every day — and I am determined to be one of them.
Any support at all — donations, shares, prayers, or simply keeping me in your thoughts — means more to me than words can express. Thank you to everyone who continues to walk beside me through this journey. I’m fighting with everything in me, and I have no intention of giving up.
