Hello, my name is Ant and I am trying to get funds together to fix my truck. I have a 16 month old daughter and elderly mother on disability whose care I am solely responsible for. I'm a single parent and caregiver and don't have the easiest time making ends meet. I found out that I need to replace the transmission on my vehicle and the lowest quote I've been able to receive is $4,500 (which is still a cheaper and safer option than gambling on getting another used car). Public transportation isn't an option because my mother has ambulation issues and can barely walk around our small apartment, so taking the bus to her appointments is not an option. I also have frequent medical appointments and a severe back injury that would make public transit extremely difficult to navigate. This is also complicated by the transportation needed to meet my daughter's needs. I desperately need to get this repair done and have run out of options... which leads me to starting this fundraiser. I am grateful for any help anyone can lend. Groceries, diapers and prescriptions already take a huge amount of my budget, not to mention rent and other essential bills that I pay on a regular basis. I'm at a loss and just hoping I can get some assistance here. Anything helps. Thank you to anyone who can contribute.
