Antonia is a dedicated homeschooled student with a passion for geography. After years of intense study and practice, she traveled to Vienna in 2024 to take part in the International Geography Bee. There, she joined two other competitors to form a team that took the world title in geography bowl! Now, she has the incredible honor of representing the USA and Illinois at the next competition in Thailand this July. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Antonia, as international competitions are only held every two years, making this her final chance to compete at the high school level.

Our family is so proud of Antonia’s achievements and her determination to pursue her dreams. However, both her dad and I experienced layoffs last year—he took a pay cut, and I am working hard to launch my own business. While Antonia is doing her part by reselling clothes and furniture to help with costs, our resources are limited. Unlike many competitors, she isn’t part of an organized school team, so she doesn’t have the same support network that others might.

The funds raised will help cover Antonia’s airfare, registration, and lodging for the competition. We are deeply grateful to the friends and family who have supported Antonia’s journey so far.
