Support Antonia's Dream to Record Her Songs

My name is Antonia, and I'm a songwriter with a big heart and a treasure trove of songs I'm eager to share with the world!

I started writing songs when I was about five years old - simple little poems put to melodies, sung in secret to the woods surrounding my Bay Area home. When I picked up a guitar at age 15 and started learning chords, I became unstoppable. I couldn't believe how many songs could emerge from the same few chords! Or how endless my own reserves of inspiration for songwriting could be!

Writing, singing and playing songs from me, to me became a form of therapy. It was my refuge and my home.

But I rarely, if ever, shared my music with others. Even the thought of it would put me into a state of near panic.

With the help of close friends and loved ones over the last few years, I've started emerging. It's been a process of gentle unfurling - first playing songs for my closest loves, then practicing in parks and public spaces, and finally starting to perform my music at house shows, open mics, and small local venues.

It has been a dream of mine - THE dream of mine - to record my songs and finally give them the space and attention they deserve. As pieces and reflections of me, I see this a way for me to love and honor myself better in the world.

I can't think of a better way to mark (!!) my birthday (!!) this year than by putting this proclamation out to the world and inviting in your love and support to make this recording dream come true.
