Hi, I’m Antonette Maximiano, an incoming sophomore Nursing major, and I’m so excited to share that I’ve been accepted into my university’s study abroad program in Rome, Italy!

This is a life-changing opportunity to experience a new culture, build cultural awareness, and become a more empathetic and well-rounded future nurse. As healthcare providers, understanding people from all backgrounds is crucial, and this experience will help me care for my future patients with more compassion and respect.

With five siblings all in school, it’s difficult for my family to cover the extra costs of the program, including flights, housing, and daily expenses. I would be so grateful for any support you can give — every donation, no matter the size, brings me closer to this incredible opportunity.
