This young man is Anton. He is an energetic and caring person who recently experienced a ruptured appendix that could have taken his life. Together we can help Anton and his family manage through this crisis.

My name is Michael Taylor. I am one of Anton's many cousins. Our entire family loves Anton and is sad to see him and his family struggle through this ordeal. Anton has one older brother, Tristan, along with his parents, Ric and Fiona, who are struggling with Anton's medical costs.

So, I decided to do something about it and see if we could help Anton and his family.

"On Saturday, November 3rd, 2024, Anton Taylor was experiencing unbearable and excruciating stomach pains and was rushed to the ER. He was soon quickly admitted into the Medical City Children's Hospital in North Dallas, Texas, due to a ruptured appendix. Anton underwent an emergency appendectomy, losing 90% of his appendix.

The surgeons reported it was the worst they had ever seen. I was very concerned for him, as I had read he could have died from the illness. We fervently prayed for his life.

Anton has been in the hospital for over 2 weeks now after his emergency surgery. During that time, Anton has been feverish and unable to consume sufficient nourishment since the operation, requiring several tubes for intravenous feeding, pain reducers, and to drain excess fluids. He has also required an additional surgery, struggled with pain, and continues to be closely monitored.

Unfortunately, Anton's recovery has been slower than expected. As such, the medical bills continue increasing the longer he remains in the hospital. The nurses and doctors are not yet able to state when they will be able to discharge him due to his slow recovery from the surgery, abscesses, and malnutrition."

Specifically, the first goal we want to help them with is to meet their current insurance deductible of $4,000, so that the insurance can cover most of the remaining costs.

After meeting this goal, we will know more about additional costs, if any, that they will need help with and can update the goal.
