With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our dear friend Antoine Merrick (Coach Merrick), who departed this world peacefully on July 31. Antoine was more than a devoted husband and a loving father to his girls — he was a pillar of strength, compassion, and guidance to so, so many.

As a beloved mentor and dedicated girls' basketball coach, Antoine left a lasting impact on countless young lives across the Chicagoland. His commitment to uplifting youth, both on and off the court, was unwavering! Through his leadership, patience, and heart, he built more than athletes — he built strong, confident, and resilient young ladies.

His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, mentorship, and service will live on in all who had the blessing to know him.

He leaves behind his wife Kelli, and two amazing daughters, Aaliyah & Kaili.
