My name is Anthony, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a really tough time. Just recently, I was hospitalized after experiencing severe hallucinations from ketamine use. The moment I got home, I witnessed the apartment building next to mine burn down, which added even more stress and fear to an already overwhelming situation. On top of that, I’m dealing with ongoing medical issues, including a recent teeth surgery, and I have a long history of childhood trauma and PTSD.
These challenges have made it incredibly hard to keep up with my hospital and medical bills. I am almost out of funds and, without medical insurance this year because I can’t afford it, the financial burden is drowning me. It’s difficult to focus on my recovery when I’m constantly worried about how I’ll pay for the care I need. Today, I have my first therapy appointment, and I’m determined to take steps toward healing and building a better future for myself.
I need all the help I can get from my family and friends to seek out my recovery with less stress than I need in my life at this moment. Any support or even sharing my fundraiser would mean the world to me. Thank you for being here and for any help you can give.
