Hello, my name is Anthony. I am currently in inpatient recovery and have just over 4 months sober. During the early stages of my recovery, I was able to reconnect with my father, and together we have been setting the foundation for a much healthier relationship. My father currently has lung cancer and has moved to California to live closer to family and live in a better climate. I was in the process of moving to California myself to be closer to him and to get a fresh start at a sober life. I am attempting to raise funds to pay off my ticket here in Minnesota, and travel expenses to California. Once my ticket is paid off, I will be free to leave Minnesota and move to California for that fresh start at a new life with my Dad in my corner. I am currently living in a rehab facility and am unable to work. I have work lined up in California at Yosemite National Park. I would love to graduate this recovery program and board a bus or train and keep my forward momentum into a new sober family-driven life.
